2026-07-06 — “no-meaning” again, worked from inside the state

New instance of no-motivation-state. Caught the “no-meaning” feeling again, went outside to move (Homyak video playing in the background), and thoughts came along the way. Unlike 2026-07-02, the meaning-question did not collapse — Denys generated a working plan while inside the state.

Raw entry (transcribed)

I caught the feeling of “no-meaning” again. Went outside to move a little with Homyak video on the background. Few thoughts came along the way.

  • It is a scenario. It happened before many times and it will happen again if the root-cause is not identified and transformed.
  • You won’t see a way out when you are IN the state. To take a good step you need to get out first, which means either preparing ideas in times when you feel motivated or finding a trigger to kick me out of it.
  • There is a way out and the fact that you have this state is actually great — it’s a direct sign-post to your personal growth. [crossed out] transforming this state becomes your first official spiritual goal. Congratulations!
  • It seems to be tightly related to the “loneliness” problem, which is a double win! Solve one — get two.
  • There were times when I listened to lots of videos and did not experience the state. Can I use movies or courses to self-regulate while I am working through it?
  • A thought appeared that I could use this period and place as a “rock-bottom” — to figure it all out, close wishes I had open for decades — like body fat, etc — and then do a push into a transformed life.

What’s new here

  • Named as a scenario with a root-cause. Denys frames the state as a repeating script that will keep firing until the root-cause is identified and transformed. Matches the self-attestation that promoted no-motivation-state; now he’s explicitly committing to solve it, not just endure it.
  • “Can’t see the way out while IN it” → prepare exits in advance. Proposed regulation strategy: bank exit-ideas during motivated periods, or find a trigger to kick out of the state. First concrete lever Denys has proposed for entering-state management (prior confirmed lever — work-pull/agency — was an exit move, 2026-07-03).
  • Reframe: the state as a signpost, not a defect. “Transforming this state = first official spiritual goal.” This is regulation happening inside the low state — the opposite of the 2026-07-02 collapse, and consistent with the regulation-lean noted on 2026-07-05.
  • Denys’s own link to loneliness. He says no-meaning is “tightly related” to loneliness — “solve one, get two.” This is his framing, not the wiki’s inference. Cross-linked below.
  • Counter-evidence on videos. “There were times when I listened to lots of videos and did not experience the state.” A candidate non-trigger / distractor. Open question: can movies/courses be used to self-regulate while working through it — regulation or avoidance? Ties straight back to the regulation-vs-avoidance question from 2026-07-03.
  • “Rock-bottom” push idea. Use this period/place as a deliberate low point to close decades-open wishes (body fat, etc.) then push into a transformed life. Touches habit-tracking.

Watch-list tags (per Watch-list for future instances)

  • Work-pull that day? Not stated. Entry is affect-driven; no mention of work. Likely low/empty — the “no-meaning” signature.
  • Accumulation day preceding? Not recorded. Last filed entry is 2026-07-05 (a good day); gap of one day.
  • News-of-war? Not mentioned.
  • “Previously wanted → now boring” contradictions? None surfaced this time.
  • What ended the state? Unknown at file-time — the entry is written from inside it (movement + planning as the coping move, exit not yet confirmed).
  • Wake-time / late waking? Not recorded.
  • Good-day test? N/A — this is an in-state entry.
  • New this instance: the meaning-question was engaged productively while in-state rather than collapsing. Track whether that repeats.

Follow-ups (surface at next review)

  • Bank exit-ideas. Denys proposed preparing exit-moves during motivated windows. Next motivated day, capture a concrete list — otherwise the idea stays theoretical.
  • Movies/courses as regulation. Test the counter-evidence: does content-consumption reliably keep the state away, or just defer it? Regulation-vs-avoidance again.
  • The loneliness link. Denys asserts the two problems are coupled. Feed into loneliness — if true, a probe on one should move the other; that’s a testable prediction.
  • Rock-bottom push. Watch whether this becomes an actual commitment or stays a low-state thought (statements made in-state get re-checked outside it — What this is not).
